G-96 Instant Gun Blue/Black. In a matter of minutes, you can greatly reduce the appearance of scuffs, scratches, blemishes and wear marks on almost all firearms with dark military or commercial finishes. Can also be used to blue/blacken small gun parts. Penetrates and darkens the metal itself, there is no build up. Glass bead your parts prior to applying the G-96 to produce a matt finish. One 2 oz bottle goes a long way. Do not get on hands or clothes.
Suggested application directions: ( you can experiment to get your best desired affect)
Clean surface area of firearm to be blued. Apply G-96 gun blue evenly and wet very lightly, no hard rubbing. Surface will instantly change to the blued color. Let set a few seconds to a minute, depending on darkness desired. Rinse with water, and DAB dry. Let set for a minute, then soak treated area with W-D 40 and dab dry. In a short time the treated area will cure and be permanent. The bluing is absorbed best on warm metal ( a little above room temperature)
